BARRIE, Ont. – Artur Cholach scored the game-winning goal with 16 seconds left in overtime as the Barrie Colts edged the Ottawa 67’s 3-2 on Thursday.

Ethan Cardwell and Beau Jelsma also scored for Barrie (18-9-4-2), which has won eight of its last 11 contests. Anson Thornton stopped 35 shots.

Chris Barlas and Caden Kelly replied for Ottawa (26-6-1-1), which suffered its first overtime defeat of the season and had its three-game winning streak snapped. Collin MacKenzie made 29 saves.

The 67’s only had one of their 37 total shots in overtime. Neither team committed a penalty in the contest.
