Local OF Josh Stark returning to Mavs

Medicine Hat product Josh Stark will don the Mavs’ red and white again.

The local outfielder will return to the Medicine Hat Mavericks this summer after playing for the WCBL club in 2022.

He spent the 2024-25 college season with Colby Community College, tallying 28 hits, three home runs and 14 RBIs with a .289 batting average in 33 games.

He plays for Oklahoma Wesleyan University this season, with a hit and two RBIs in two games this season.

In his first stint with the Mavs, Stark had seven hits and two RBIs in 23 games.
