Dunmore Equestrian hosts Roping for Ropers event Saturday

Dunmore Equestrian hosted a large team roping event over the weekend.

There were 442 teams competing in two slides with a total of $61,100 paid out during the ‘Roping For The Roper’ event held in Dunmore.

In the No. 12 slide, head Mike Miller and heeler Thomas McNeil finished first with a $10,020 payout. Tuftin McLeod and Dawson Jackson finished second and Keely Bonnett and Logan Spady finished third. Levi Simpson was the header with both Jared Pancoast and Braden Brost, finishing fourth and fifth.

In the No. 8 slide, Titus Kropf and Jeff Hunter finish first with a $4,240 payout. Rodolfo Pena and Thomas McNeil finished second, Abe Peters and Paige Goldsmith finished third and Clint Brost, heading for Logan Reesor and Ricardo Morales, finishing fourth and fifth.
