Catcher Jamel Chabot returning to Mavs

The Medicine Hat Mavericks will see a familiar catcher behind the plate this summer.

Jamel Chabot is returning to Medicine Hat and the WCBL this summer after debuting for the Mavs last year.

The Cheney, Wash. product played in 23 games last summer, tallying 20 hits, 10 RBIs and scored 15 times with a .290 batting average.

Chabot is joined by infielders Blake Dale, Evan Morrison, Carter Roth, outfielder Jeremy Freeman Jr. and pitcher Diego Centella as returnees.
