sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews For the fourth time in five seasons, the Medicine Hat Cubs will face the Okotoks Bisons in the playoffs. After a first-round bye, the South division champion Cubs face the Bisons who beat the Coaldale Copperheads with a two-game sweep in the best-of-three first round. They lost in four games last season to the Bisons who then lost to the Sylvan Lake Wranglers in the HJHL finals. Game 2 is Sunday in Okotoks at 3:15 p.m. and Game 3 is Feb. 20 back at the Kinplex with a 7:30 p.m. puck drop. If needed, Game 4 would be Feb. 21 in Okotoks (8:30 p.m.) and a decisive Game 5 would be Feb. 22 at the Kinplex (3 p.m.). The Cubs won the season series 3-2, rebounding from a pair of losses on the road to the Bisons to start the season. Okotoks won 4-2 on Oct. 10 and 6-1 on Oct. 31. They beat the Bisons 4-2 Nov. 22 and entered the holiday break with a 9-2 win Dec. 20. In their penultimate game of the regular season, the Cubs beat Okotoks 4-3 on Jan. 30. 9
