The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club put on quite a show at a swim meet in Calgary last week.
The local swim club sent 31 swimmers to the Maverick Madness swim meet held at the Brookfield YMCA in Calgary from Jan. 26 to Feb. 1.
Nayla Berg (14): Finished 14th in 50m Fly Prelim, 100m Back Prelim and 25th in 50m Free Prelim.
Rixtonn Biffart (11): Finished first in 200m Free Final (New 12y/o Festival Time), second in 100m IM Final, third in 100m Back Prelim and 100m Back Final (New 13 & Under Provincial time), fourth in 50m Back Prelim, 50m Back Final (New 13 & Under Provincial time) and 100m Breast Final, fifth in 100m Breast Prelim and seventh in 200m Breast Final (New 12y/o Festival Time).
Dain Burnell (13): Finished third in 50m Fly Final and 200m IM Final (New 13 & Under Provincial Time), sixth in 50m Fly Prelim, seventh in 100m Breast Final (New 13 & Under Provincial Time) and 400m Free Final, ninth in 100m Breast Prelim and 10th in 50m Back Prelim, 50m Back Final (New 13 & Under Provincial Time) and 100m IM Final.
