The Tigers hosted a pair of games over the weekend, beating the NWCAA Red 6-1 Saturday and topping the CNHA Green 6-3 on Sunday. Stetsen Kruiser had two goals Saturday, Fischer Sprunger had a goal and two assists, Paxton Foote had a goal and an assist and both Tyson Nguyen and Willis McLennan had solo markers. Koa Steinkey had three helpers, Shawn Mrowil had two assists, and in net, Tate Martin made 24 saves. Nguyen led the offence Sunday with four goals. Nah Dyck had a goal and two assists, Mrowil had a solo marker and Sprunger had two assists. Dawson Ressler made 40 saves. The next scheduled AEHL games for the U13AAA SE Tigers (9-7-0-0-3) are Jan. 17 and 18 on the road. The Medicine Hat U13AA Hounds had two home games, going undefeated. They tied the Olds Grizzlys 1-1 Saturday before beating the Foothills Bisons 5-1 Sunday. Hudson Danroth scored the Hounds’ lone goal Saturday, Treyson Donnelly made 21 saves. In Sunday’s win, Austin Hull scored twice, both Carter Martin and Exton McGarvey had a goal and an assist and Deacon Dulle found the back of the net. Austin Schneider had three assists and Asher Nardari made 26 saves. The U13AA Hounds (4-10-0-0-5) are on the road this weekend. U16 The Medicine Hat U16AA Hounds split their weekend, beating the Lethbridge Hurricanes 8-3 Friday before losing 10-3 Sunday to the NWCAA Bronks. Beckham Girletz led the way in the win with two goals, Evander Leupold had three assists. All four of Dylan Dick, Liam Jaspers, Everett Ward and Shane Mathe had a goal and an assist. Both Brock Schneider and Logan Dulle scored solo markers, Bryden Tschritter made 33 saves. In Sunday’s loss, Girletz, Ward and Mathe each scored, Marshall Turner started in net and made four saves. Tschritter took over and finished with 38 saves. The U16AA Hounds (7-12-0-0-1) are on the road for one game this weekend. U17 The U17AAA SE Tigers picked up a point over their weekend slate. They lost 3-2 Saturday to the Calgary Northstars before tying the SPKAC Squires 1-1 on Sunday at home. In the loss Saturday, Rhyder Arnold and Dane Friedt had a goal and an assist each, Griffin Stenger made 38 saves. Illya Khazov scored the Tigers’ lone goal Sunday, Jake Drurar made 35 saves. The U17AAA SE Tigers (5-11-0-0-3) have two home games this weekend against the Red Deer Chiefs at the Hockey Hounds arena. They host the Chiefs on Saturday at 6:15 p.m. and Sunday at 1:45 p.m. U18 The Medicine Hat U18AA Hounds had just one game in their return from the holidays, falling 5-0 Saturday to the Bow Valley Timberwolves. Treyton Wilson made 43 saves in the loss. The U18AA Hounds (8-11-0-0-3) are on the road for one game this weekend. 26
