Hat’s Team Miller wins locally held U18 bonspiel

Team Miller defenced the home-ice territory last weekend at the Curling Centre.

The Medicine Hat curling team of Lyndon Sherwick, Emmett Cook, Colby Sherwick and Ryker Miller won the men’s event at the U18 Bonspiel held at the Medicine Hat Curling Centre.

They won their game 7-5. Team Roa of Calgary won the women’s event, winning 7-4. A total of 16 teams from across Alberta and Saskatchewan competed at the bonspiel, with four men’s teams and 12 women’s teams competing.

The next event at the Curling Centre is the Senior’s Bonspiel Dec. 12-14.
