4 Mustangs named to ringette teams for 2026 Alberta Winter Games

The Medicine Hat Ringette Association will be well represented at the 2026 Alberta Winter Games.

Four Mustangs have been named to zone rosters for the 2026 provincial games hosted Feb. 13-16 in the Lakeland Region.

The four Mustangs selected are goaltenders Emma Pinnell (Zone 4) and Jacqueline LeBlanc (Zone 6), forward Breanna Lanuk (Zone 5) and defender Lacey Gibney (Zone 7).

Lanuk previously competed at the 2024 Alberta Winter games, playing as an underager.

Coach in training Jay Pinnell will serve on the coaching staff of the Zone 4 team.

All four play on the U16B Mustangs who recently captured gold at the Bridge Battle tournament in Lethbridge.
