Waves Swim Club races at Fall Blast race

The Medicine Hat Waves Swim Club raced in B.C. over the weekend.

The local swim club sent 16 swimmers to the Elk Valley Fall Blast Nov. 7-9 at the Fernie Aquatic Centre in Fernie, B.C.

The local results were:

Ellis Anstey (8): Raced at the Male 12 and under level, finishing sixth in 100m Back, seventh in 100m Breast, ninth in 50m Back, 10th in 50m Breast, 15th in 100m Free and 16th in 50m Free.

Quinn Baht (10): Raced at the Female 12 and under level, finishing ninth in 200m Back, 12th in 400m Free, 16th in 50m Fly, 18th in 100m Free, 19th in 50m Breast and 100m Back and 21st in 50m Free and 200m IM.

Sophie Baht (14): Raced in the Female 13-14 division, finishing second in 100m Breast, fifth in 50m Fly, sixth in 50m Free and seventh in 400m Free.

Kaden Goffinet (17): Raced at Male 15 and over, finishing second in 50m Back and 100m Breast, third in 50m Breast, 100m Free and 100m Back and 12th in 50m Free.

Jordan Hill (16): Raced at the Female 15 and over, finishing third in 400m Free, fifth in 100m Free and 200m Free, seventh in 50m Fly, eighth in 200m IM, ninth in 50m Breast and 11th in 50m Free.

lizabeth Humphreys (15): Raced in the Female 15 and over class, finishing second in 50m Back and 50m Fly, third in 50m Breast, fourth in 200m Breast and fifth in 50m Free.

Avery McDonald (12): Raced in the Female 12 and under division, finishing third in 100m Free, fourth in 50m Breast and 200m Breast, fifth in 200m Free, sixth in 50m Free, seventh in 50m Fly and eighth in 200m IM.

Isabel Miller (12): Raced in the Female 12 and under class, finishing second in 200m Breast, third in 50m Breast and 100m Breast, fifth in 50m Fly, seventh in 100m Free and 200m IM and 10th in 50m Free.

Jonathan Miller (14): Raced at Male 13-14, finishing fourth in 50m Fly, fifth in 200m IM, sixth in 50m Free, 100m Fly and 400m Free and seventh in 100m Free and 200m Free.

William Miller (17): Raced at Male 15 and over, finishing first in 100m Fly and second in 100m Free, 100m Back, 200m Free and 200m IM.

Zoe Peterson (9): Raced in Female 12 and under, finishing 24th in 100m Breast, 29th in 200m Free, 32nd in 50m Back, 38th in 50m Breast, 39th in 50m Free and 40th in 100m Free.

Avery Tweten (8): Raced at Female 12 and under class, finishing 23rd in 100m Breast, 28th in 100m Back, 37th in 50m Breast, 41st in 50m Back and 44th in 50m Free and 100m Free.

Connor Tweten (12): Swam in the Male 12 and under division, finishing first in 100m Breast, 200m Breast and 400m Free, second in 200m IM and 200m Free, third in 50m Breast, seventh in 50m Free and eighth in 100m Free.

Oliver Tweten (10): Raced in the Male 12 and under division, finishing fourth in 200m Breast, sixth in 100m Breast, 11th in 50m Breast, 14th in 100m Free and 15th in 50m Free.

Isabel Unreiner (15): Raced at the Female 15 and over class, finishing third in 100m Free, fourth in 50m Back, fifth in 100m Back, sixth in 50m Fly and 50m Breast and ninth in 50m Free.

Hazel Vossler (13): Raced in the Female 13-14 class, finishing seventh in 200m Breast, ninth in 50m Breast, 10th in 100m Breast, 11th in 50m Back, 12th in 50m Fly, 18th in 100m Free and 24th in 50m Free.
