The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club sent 12 swimmers to the first provincial series meet of the season, racing in Calgary on Saturday and Sunday.

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club was in provincial action over the weekend.
The local swim club raced at the first provincial series meet of the season on Saturday and Sunday, sending 12 swimmers to race against 17 clubs from across Alberta at the CASC Speed Meet YMCA Seaton in Calgary.
Their results were:
Abigail Begin (17): Finished sixth in 100m IM Final, 11th in 100m IM Prelim, 13th in 100m Back Prelim, 14th in 50m Back Prelim, 50m Back Final and 100m Back Final, 22nd in 50m Fly Prelim, 23rd in 100m Fly Prelim and 31st in 50m Free Prelim.
Nayla Berg (13): Finished 13th in 50m Breast Prelim, 22nd in 50m Back Prelim (New 15y/o provincial time) and 100m Breast Prelim, 28th in 200m Back Prelim, 31st in 50m Fly Prelim and 42nd in 100m Free Prelim.
Wyatt Gage (16): Finished ninth in 100m IM Prelim, 10th in 100m IM Final, 13th in 50m Free Prelim and 50m Free Final, 16th in 50m Fly Prelim and 50m Back Prelim, 18th in 100m Fly Prelim, 19th in 100m Free Prelim and 20th in 100m Free Final.
Carleigh Gainsborough (12): Finished 11th in 100m Breast Prelim, 16th in 100m IM Final, 18th in 100m IM Prelim, 19th in 100m Free Prelim and 100m Free Final and 26th in 50m Free Prelim and 200m Back Prelim.
Lauren Gainsborough (14): Finished ninth in 50m Breast Final, 10th in 50m Breast Prelim, 12th in 100m Breast Prelim and 100m Fly Prelim (New 16 and over provincial time), 13th in 100m Free Prelim (New 16 and over provincial time), 100m Breast Final and 200m Breast Final (New 16 and over provincial time), 14th in 200m Breast Prelim, 15th in 100m Free Final, 17th in 50m Fly Prelim (New 16 and over provincial time), 18th in 100m Fly Final and 20th in 50m Fly Final.
Morgan Hobson (17): Finished eighth in 200m Breast Final, 10th in 200m Breast Prelim, 14th in 50m Breast Prelim, 16th in 100m IM Prelim and 100m IM Final, 17th in 50m Breast Final and 100m Breast Prelim, 18th in 100m Breast Final, 33rd in 50m Fly Prelim and 51st in 50m Free Prelim.
Olivia Liebenberg (13): Finished 14th in 50m Free Prelim (New 16 and over provincial time), 20th in 50m Free Final, 25th in 100m Free Prelim and 200m Free Prelim, 27th in 200m IM Prelim, 28th in 100m Breast Prelim (New 13 and under provincial time) and 46th in 400m Free Final (New 14y/o provincial time).
Caen McWilliams (16): Finished sixth in 100m Free Prelim and 200m Back Final, seventh in 200m Back Prelim, eighth in 100m Free Final, ninth in 50m Back Final, 11th in 50m Back Prelim, 100m Back Prelim and 200m Free Prelim and 17th in 50m Free Prelim and 50m Free Final.
Lily McWilliams (14): Finished fourth in 50m Back Prelim (New 14y/o provincial champ time), 100m Free Final (New 15y/o provincial champ time), 200m Free Prelim and 200m Free Final (New 15y/o provincial champ time), fifth in 50m Free Prelim and 50m Free Final, sixth in 50m Back Final and 100m Free Prelim, seventh in 100m Fly Prelim and 100m Fly Final, 17th in 100m Back Final and 20th in 100m Back Prelim.
Olivia McWilliams (12): Finished 18th in 100m Breast Prelim, 25th in 200m Back Prelim, 29th in 100m Back Prelim and 30th in 50m Free Prelim.
Masao Mori (14): Finished second in 100m IM Prelim and 100m IM Final (new club record), fourth in 100m Fly Prelim and 100m Fly Final (new club record, 15 y/o provincial champ time and 16 and over provincial time), fifth in 200m Fly Prelim and 200m Fly Final (new club record and 15y/o provincial champ time), sixth in 200m IM Final (New 16 and over provincial champ time), eighth in 200m IM Prelim, 17th in 50m Back Final, 18th in 50m Back Prelim and 26th in 100m Breast Prelim.
Leo Yonkman (16): Finished 12th in 50m Breast Prelim, 18th in 100m Breast Prelim, 23rd in 50m Free Prelim and 25th in 100m Free Prelim
Next up for AMAC is a race at home, as they’ll host the Fall Invitational Nov. 14-16 at the Big Marble Go Centre.
