They faced Bow View twice on Sunday, falling 15-5 and 9-5.
In the first loss, Jorja Sadler and Arika McDowell each had a goal and an assist, and all three of Brinley Cross, Kassidy Etienne and Rhya Weinberger found the back of the net.
Grace Stirling was in net for the first game.
In the Mustangs’ second game, Dannalee Sawchuk was in net. Etienne scored twice, McDowell had a goal and an assist, Sadler and Annabelle O’Reilly each found the back of the net.
The U14 Mustangs have two home games this weekend, hosting Calgary South for a pair on Saturday at the Moose Rec Centre.
U19
The U19 Mustangs hit the ice Saturday for a pair of games against the U19B Calgary South.
They picked up a vcitory in the first meeting, winning 11-3. Ryleigh Jackiw had four goals and Aviana Velichko notched a hat trick. Leighton Wright, Kensie Provost and Bella Heinrichs each scored. Kyree Stern-Rebmann stood tall between the pipes.
In the second game of the day, the Mustangs worked to a 4–2 win.
Velichko scored twice, while Wright and Ava Allchurch each added tallies to the scoreboard. Reese Tabor had two assists and all three of Tayler Soveran-Welte, Kendall Smith, Kensie Provost had helpers.
Stern-Rebmann returned to the net, backstopping the Mustangs to victory.
The Mustangs next scheduled game is Nov. 15 on the road.
U16
The Medicine Hat U16B Mustangs put on an offensive showcase Saturday at home in a pair of wins.
They kicked off the day with a 13-9 victory over South Calgary in Medicine Hat.
Lacey Gibney exploded for eight goals in the win, an effort complimented by teammates efforts. Onyka Funk tallied two goals and four assists, Breanna Lanuk contributed two goals and three assists. Margot Kerr added a goal and four helpers, Jillian Stodalka quietly picked up four assists and Madison Hegleson also recorded a pair of assists.
Both Mustangs’ goaltenders, Emma Pinnell and Jacqueline LeBlanc, stood tall in net.
They capped off a dominant day with an 11-3 victory over South Calgary.
Lanuk took over offensive efforts with seven goals and an assist. Gibney continued her pace from the morning matchup, adding two goals and five assists, and Kerr chipped in two goals and two assists.
Funk and Tia Van Maarion added assists as well.
In net, Pinnell and LeBlanc split duties between the pipes again.
The Mustangs play a double header on Saturday at the Moose Recreation Centre against Bow View.
U12
The U12B Mustangs battled hard this weekend with two home league games, falling to the Foothills ringette team.
In the first game, the Mustangs’ offence was led by Addison Staheli, Jayla-Ray Klaudt and Maizee Trotter, each finding the back of the net Lexxon Martinez had two assists and both Eris Davies and Klaudt had helpers.
In the second game, Staheli scored the Mustangs’ lone goal, assisted by Kimber Moch. Lexi Aldred stood tall in net for both matchups.
The Mustangs will look to bounce back as they head to Rockyford this weekend for tournament action.
