sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The Canadian Hockey League has named the full CHL roster for the Prospects Challenge in late November. A total of eight WHL players will represent the CHL in the two-game set against the U.S. National Under-18 Team on Nov. 25 in Calgary and Nov. 26 in Lethbridge. No Medicine Hat Tigers were named to the CHL roster to be coached by Willie Desjardins. The eight WHL representatives are forwards Chase Harrington (Spokane Chiefs), JP Hurlbert (Kamloops Blazers), Mathis Preston (Spokane Chiefs), defencemen Carson Carels (Prince George Cougars), Ryan Lin (Vancouver Giants), Girogos Pantelas (Brandon Wheat Kings), Daxon Rudolph (Prince Albert Raiders) and goaltender Harrison Boettiger (Kelowna Rockets). Tigers’ video coach Jayce Desjardins and athletic therapist and equipment manager Mikki Lanuk will also serve on the Team CHL staff for both games. In total, the CHL roster contains 15 players who earned an ‘A’ rating (first-round candidate) on NHL Central Scouting’s Preliminary Players to Watch List. 8
