They beat the Calgary Northstars 4-3 on Saturday and downed the Calgary Bulls 3-2 on Sunday. The Tigers had four different goal scorers Saturday, with Cameron Slater, Illya Khazov, Hudson Gross and Trevin Ibach each finding the back of the net. Gross tied the game up with 3:26 left in the third and Khazov potted the game winner 2:40 into overtime. George Maser had a pair of assists in the win and Griffin Stenger made 44 saves. In Sunday’s win, Khazov had a goal and an assist, scoring the tying goal 9:26 into the third period. Rhyder Arnold scored in the first period and Hayden MacNeil scored the game winner, coming 4:58 into overtime. Jake Druar made 25 saves. The U17AAA SE Tigers (3-0) are off until Oct. 25. U18 The Medicine Hat U18AA Hounds lost 7-3 Friday to the Foothills Bisons before coming to a 4-4 tie Sunday with the CBHA Rangers. Jaxon Benci and Mavric Ward each had a goal and an assist in Friday’s loss, Griffin Aadland scored a solo marker. Treyton Wilson made 38 saves. In the draw Sunday, Zander Weatherhead had a goal and an assist, and all three of Colten Pluta, Aadland and Benci found the back of the net. Hudson Corbett made 48 saves. The U18AA Hounds (1-3-0-1) are on the road Saturday before hosting the Wheatland Warriors on Sunday at the Hockey Hounds arena for a 7:15 p.m. contest. U16 The U16AA Hounds lost 6-2 Saturday to the Red Deer Chiefs before falling 2-0 Sunday to the Wheatland Warriors. Gage Bowal had a goal and an assist on Saturday and Everett Ward found the back of the net. Marshall Turner made 25 saves. In Sunday’s loss, Bryden Tschritter made 31 saves. The U16AA Hounds (1-2) host the CBHA Hawks on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest at the Kinplex. U15 The U15AAA SE Tigers lost 8-4 Saturday to the Airdrie Xtreme. Ben Van Der Linde scored twice, Raylan Johnson had a goal and an assist and Eli Robb scored a solo mark. Both Beckam Sprunger and Teddy Maser had a pair of assists. Hunter Munro started the game, making eight saves and Hunter Knoll made 42 saves in relief. The U15AAA Tigers (0-5) are on the road for a pair of games this weekend. The U15AA Hounds split their weekend, falling 10-1 Saturday to the East Kootenay Avalanche before beating the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-2 on Sunday. Nixon Staples scored the Hounds’ lone goal Saturday, Maddox Joyal made 31 saves. In Sunday’s win, Easton Brown had a goal and an assist and all three of Kiptyn Head, Kaspar Copeland and Emerson Kurtz scored. Colson Neigum made 27 saves. The U15AA Hounds (1-4) have a pair of home games this week, hosting the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Friday (7 p.m.) and the Golden Suns on Saturday (7:15 p.m.), both at the Hockey Hounds arena. U13 The U13AA Hounds drew to a tie in their lone game of the weekend, finishing 5-5 with the Central Alberta Selects on Saturday. Carter Martin scored twice, both Max Chisholm and Austin Hull had a goal and an assist and Cohen McLaren scored a solo marker. Treyson Donnelly made 40 saves. The U13AA Hounds (0-2-0-2) have two home games this weekend at the Hockey Hounds arena. They’ll host the Airdrie Lightning on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. and face the East Kootenay Avalanche on Sunday for a 12:30 p.m. contest. 29
