sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The Medicine Hat College Rattlers soccer teams were on the road this weekend. The Rattlers men’s and women’s team faced the SAIT Trojans in Calgary. The men’s team won 2-1 over the Trojans for a fifth straight victory. SAIT opened the scoring with the lone goal of the first half. That was the only blemish against Rattlers’ keeper Maksymiliam Slaweta who turned aside seven shots in the win. Aleksa Bijelic tied the game up at the 71st minute and assisted on the game winner three minutes later, scored by Joao Cintra. The win tied the Rattlers men’s (5-0) with the Trojans for first in the South division. The Rattlers women’s team lost 6-0 to the Trojans. Abby Lalach made seven saves for MHC. Both men’s and women’s (3-3) teams are on the road this weekend. They’ll face the Olds College Broncos on Saturday before taking on the Red Deer Polytechnic on Sunday. 11
