The WCBL has teamed up with BrokerLink Insurance to collect the gear, look to help ensure every player in each community has the opportunity to participate in sports. “The Western Canadian Baseball League is excited to partner with BrokerLink in these communities to help young people have fun and follow their sporting pursuits to the fullest. Giving families and children improved access to the sports they love is important to our league and our teams,” says Mark Stiles, the managing director of corporate partnerships for the WCBL. “This initiative is a win-win. It’s a great feeling to contribute to your local community, and your generosity creates opportunities to make a difference in a child’s future.” Medicine Hat baseball fans can bring their gently used sports equipment to the Mavs’ home game on Friday against the Regina Red Sox. 7
