Both Kade Velichko and Gavin Russell each had three RBIs with two hits, Dylan Harnett had two hits and two runs scored. Beckett Lybbert scored twice, adding a hit. Gavin Nardari worked six innings with 10 strikeouts. Velichko pitched an inning, striking out all three batters. They beat there’d Deer U15AA Budal Rangers 5-34 on Sunday. Harnett hit a home run, Velichko had two hits with an RBI and a run scored. Mason Opp had a hit with an RBI and a run scored. Lybbert pitched 6.2 innings with seven strikeouts, Velichko recorded a strikeout for the final out. The Majestics finished the weekend with a 6-5, walk-off win over the YQL Sluggers. Russell lined a single to left field to score the winning run from third base, finishing with two hits, an RBI and a run scored. Velichko had three hits with an RBI and a run scored, Connor Maier had three hits. Harnett started the game, working four innings with eight strikeouts. Jace Berner worked two innings in relief with three strikeouts. Velichko threw the final frame with one strikeout. Monarchs The Medicine Hat Moose Monarchs recorded two wins over the weekend after dropping three mid-week games. The Monarchs were shutout in three straight games against the Missoula Mavericks during the week, losing 10-0 Tuesday, 5-0 and 3-0 on Wednesday. They lost 6-5 on Thursday to the Spokane Expos. David Pidlisny had two hits and scored twice, Mixon Kunkel had a hit and two RBIs. Kunkel worked five innings with a striekout, Asha Frey pitched an inning with one punch out. They rebounded, winning 10- Friday over the Missoula Impact Baseball Club. Frey had two hits and two RBIs, scoring once. Matt Getz scored twice and had two RBIs with a hit. Both Cade Moch and Pidlisny scored twice, with a hit. The Monarchs lost 7-4 Saturday to the Spokane Cannons. Pidlisny had two hits with an RBI and a run scored and all three of Mason Heintz, Wade Davies and Getz had a hit and scored once. Ty Meyer started the game, working 3.2 innings with two strikeouts. Pryce Velichko pitched 1.1 innings with a strikeout and Gets pitched the final two innings. They won the final game of the weekend, beating the Glacier Twins 12-4 on Sunday. Pidlisny had two hits with two RBIs and two runs scored. Heintz scored three times with a hit and an RBI, Davies had three hits with an RBI. Moch started the game, with two strikeouts in three innings pitched. Ayden Anderson pitched two innings with four strikeouts. Knights The Medicine Hat Knights of Columbus won five of their six games last weekend. Their lone loss of the week came in the first game, an 18-6 loss on Tuesday to the Havre Northstars. Both Liam Cunningham and Ethan Chenard each had a hit with an RBI and a run scored. Dylan Nelson started the game with two innings pitched, recording three strikeouts. Hudson Ma recorded an out and Ethan Grad pitched the last 1.2 innings. They beat Havre 10-8 later in the day Tuesday. Cunningham had three hits and scored three times with an RBI. Ryan Ziebart had three hits and two RBIs, Chenard had two runs scored and two RBIs with a hit. Kane Bishop started the game, working three innings with four strikeouts. James Cole and Ryker Miller each threw a frame, Cunningham struck out one batter in 1.2 innings pitched and Ethan Bowey recorded an out. They faced the Lethbridge Lakers in a pair of games Wednesday, winning 11-6 and 12-5. Bishop had four hits with an RBI, scoring twice. Ziebart had three hits, scoring twice with an RBI and Cunningham had two RBIs with two hits and a pair of runs scored. Bowey worked four innings with a strikeout, Cole threw the last three frames. Both Bishop an Chenard had two hits and two RBIs in the second win Wednesday, with Bishop scoring four times, Chenard scored twice. Grad had two hits with an RBI and a run scored. Jayden Mook started the game, pitching 6.1 innings with four strikeouts. Cunningham recorded the final two outs. They finished the weekend with a pair of games against the Great Falls Chargers, winning 7-4 and 14-4. In the first win, Grad had four hits, scoring three times. Both Chenard and Cunningham had two hits, each scoring once and Mook had a hit with an RBI. Cole started the game, recording three strikeouts in 5.1 innings. Nelson worked an out and Bowey pitched 1.1 innings with a stakeout. In their second win against Great Falls, Chenard had four hits with three RBIs and two runs scored. Both Cunningham and Mook had two RBIs and scored twice, both adding a hit. Bowey worked a complete game with a strikeout in six innings pitched. 37
