The Mavs debuted last year and will return again their all-star baseball clinic, a pair of camps designed for advanced, all-star calibre players aged 9-18 who are looking to sharpen their skills and take their play to the next level. The Mavs will hold two clinics across two dates, July 10 and 14 with two time slots, 12:30-1:30 p.m. and 1:40-2:40 p.m. Mavs head coach Jonathon Thornhill and assistants Ryan Reid and Cesar Rodriguez will lead the clinics alongside members of the 2025 Mavs roster. There are four different sessions for those all-star players interested in improving their pitching, hitting, infield and catching skills. Those looking to sign up can find the registration link on the Mavs’ website and social media pages. Mavs at Fort McMurray The Mavs’ six-game West division road trip continued Thursday, stopping at Fort McMurray against the Giants. The Mavericks face the Giants again tonight before they head to Spruce Grove to face the Energy City Cactus Rats for the first time, finishing the road trip with games Saturday (5:05 p.m.) and Sunday (1:35 p.m.). They lost 9-1 Wednesday at Sylvan Lake to the Gulls after beating the West division foe 3-2 on Tuesday. 11
