Waves Swim Club send four swimmers to provincial trials

Four Medicine Hat Waves swimmers raced this weekend at Summer Provincial Trials.

They swam to new best times, club records and provincial times.

New club records

Kaden Goffinet: (16 y.o. Boys) LC 50m Breast, 100m Breast and 200m Breast.

New qualifying times

Sophie Baht: (14 y.o. Girls) 100m Breast provincial trials.

Kaden Goffinet: (16 & Over Boys), 50m Free.

Elizabeth Humphreys: (14 y.o. Girls) 50 Breast provincial trials.

Isabel Miller: (14 y.o. Girls, 15 y.o. Girls and 16 and over Girls) LC 200m breast provincial trials.

Individual results

Sophie Baht (14, F): Raced in the 14-year-old Girls class, finishing ninth in 100m Breast, 12th in 50m Breast and 200m IM, 20th in 50m Free and 200m Free, 17th in 50m Fly and 27th in 100m Free.

Elizabeth Humphreys (14, F): Raced in the 14-year-old Girls class, finishing seventh in 50m Back, eighth in 50m Breast, 10th in 100m Fly, 12th in 50m Fly and 18th in 50m Free.

Isabel Miller (12, F): Raced in the 13 and under Girls division, finishing seventh in 200m Breast, 13th in 100m Breast, 26th in 50m Breast, 36th in 100m Free, 43rd in 50m Free and 62nd in 50m Back.

Kaden Goffinet (16, M): Raced in the Boys 16 and over division, finishing first in 100m Breast and 200m Breast, second in 50m Breast and 100m Free, third in 50m Free and sixth in 50m Back.
