The Medicine Hat U13 Thunder White had a golden weekend in Brooks.
The Thunder went undefeated across four games on Saturday, capturing first place at the Hustle and Hit Tournament hosted in Brooks.
They opened the weekend with a 14-3 win over Strathmore.
Emily Gergely scored twice with a hit and an RBI and both Arya Goulard and Emery Tuchscherer had a hit with an RBI and a run scored
Tuchscherer pitched three innings, Madelyn Ulmer also worked a frame, both recording a strikeout.
They beat Duchess 10-2 with Kassidy Etienne recording two RBIs and two runs scored, adding a hit. Goulard scored twice, with a hit and an RBI.
Etienne pitched three innings, recording six strikeouts. Ulmer worked two innings with one punchout.
The Thunder White beat Brooks 15-9, both Goulard and Ulmer scored twice with a hit and an RBI. Etienne and Jocelyn Leupold scored twice with a hit.
Julie Giesbrecht pitched two innings with three strikeouts, Makelti Brown recorded a pair of outs, one being a strikeout and Tuchscherer worked an inning with two strikeouts.
They no-hit Duchess in the finals, winning the championship with an 11-0 victory.
Leupold had two RBIs with a hit and a run scored, Brown scored twice with a hit and an RBI. Etienne pitched three innings with six strikeouts, Ulmer worked a shutout frame as well.
The U13 Thunder Red played six games over the weekend, picking up a win.
They lost the first game of the weekend, falling 20-7 to the Calgary Adrenaline-Hebert on Friday.
Mahayla Desjarlais had a hit with an RBI and a run scored in the loss. Gwyn Davidson pitched three innings with a strikeout, Kallie Crossland pitched an inning.
The Thunder won their second game Friday, beating the Nose Creek Chaos 10-5.
Madison Beal had two hits and two runs scored, Elle Osadczuk had two RBIs with two runs scored and a hit.
Trinity Ritco pitched four innings with three strikeouts, Alexis Marshall worked two frames with three strikeouts.
They lost 12-3 to the Calgary Adrenaline-Priest on Saturday. Jovi Ireland had a hit with an RBI and a run scored. Kallie Crossland pitched 2.1 innings with five strikeouts, Marshall worked 1.2 frames.
They lost 12-10 to the Lloydminster Liners later in the day.
Osadczuk had two runs scored and two RBIs with a hit, Crossland scored twice with a hit. Ritco pitched three innings with two strikeouts, Marshall worked four frames with five strikeouts.
The Thunder Red lost 12-7 Sunday to the SBR Rockies-Pyett.
Aaralyn Scott had two hits with two runs scored and Desjarlais had two RBIs with two hits and a run scored. Jada Moorhead recorded a strikeout in three innings of work. Kenzie Mastel worked an inning with a strikeout.
They finished the weekend with a 13-0 loss to the Calgary Kaizen. Crossland pitched four innings with three strikeouts.
U11
The Medicine Hat U11 Thunder Red played five games over the weekend.
They lost the first game, falling 13-6 to the Calgary Xtreme.
Khloe Clark had a hit with an RBI and a run scored. Kayci Marshall pitched 1.2 innings with two strikeouts, Leighton Moon worked 1.1 innings with a strikeout.
They tied the RDRF U11B 14-14. Clark had a pair of runs and RBIs, recording a hit. Presley Morrison had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI.
Harlan Schimpf started the game, recording a strikeout and Kyler Geddes-Martin also pitched. Moon recorded two strikeouts in an inning of work.
They lost their final game Saturday, falling 13-6 to the U11 A Liners.
Macy Gust scored twice, notching a hit. Presley Morrison had two hits, two RBIs and a run scored. Charlie Humphrey started the game, Morrison worked an inning and Marshall finished the game with a strikeout in an inning of work.
They faced the A Liners again on Sunday, falling 20-6. Morrison scored twice, with a hit and an RBI. Clark had a hit, RBI and a run scored. Moon struck-out three batters in an inning, Schimpf and Moon each pitched to finish the game.
The U11 Thunder Red won their last game of the weekend, beating the RDRF U11B 15-11.

The Medicine Hat U15 Thunder Red played six games over the weekend, recording four wins.
They kicked things off with a 6-5 win over the Airdrie Angels Minni.
Emma Agar-Weninger had two runs scored with a hit and an RBI. Nellie Campbell pitched four innings with four strikeouts, Emily Kleemola had three strikeouts in two innings of work.
Their only loss of the weekend game in their second game, a 9-7 loss Friday to the West Hill Wild.
Kylie James had two runs scored with a hit, Kiya Britton had a hit with a run scored. Kianna Mastel started the game, working three innings with four strikeouts. Kleemola had three strikeouts in two innings.
They beat the SBR Rockies 15-1 on Saturday Haidyn Pidlisny had four hits, four RBIs and three runs scored. Avery Regehr had a pair of hits, RBIs and two runs scored. Both Farrer Campbell and Britton each had three hits with two RBIs and a run scored.
Campbell pitched the complete game with four strikeouts in four innings.
They tied the Calgary West Valley U15B 7-7 to finish play Saturday.

They kicked off Sunday in winning fashion, beating the Delburne Dodgers 18-8.

The Medicine Hat U17 Thunder Red played five games over the weekend, recording a pair of wins.
They opened the weekend with a 14-0 shutout win Friday over the Parkland Twins.
Allie Evans drove in five RBIs with two hits, scoring twice as well. Kendall Smith had two RBIs with two hits and a run scored. Gracie Ulmer scored twice and had two RBIs, with a hit.
Adriene Campbell threw all four innings with seven strikeouts.
They lost 10-0 to the Twin City Angels on Saturday.
Mackenzie Tindall recorded the lone Thunder hit. Taryn Brost pitched 3.1 innings, Smith worked the last two outs, one being a punchout.
They lost 16-1 to SPK later in the day.
Gracie Eddy, Evans, Sydney Thompson and Charli Allinson each collected a hit. Evans started the game, recording a strikeout in 1.2 innings of work. Smith finished the game on the mound.

The U17 Southern Selects picked up three wins over the weekend, kicking things off with an 11-2 win Saturday over the U16 406 Flyers-Ostermiller.
Molleigh Coombs had two hits and two RBIs, scoring once. Brooklyn Kustra had a pair of hits, RBIs and runs scored, Maddy Ziegenhagel had two hits with two RBIs and one run.
Alexis Collier recorded 10 strikeouts in four innings on the mound, hosting Ostermiller to just two hits.
They carried the momentum into a 10-9 win later in the day over the U16 Boltz.
Aviana Velichko had two RBIs and two runs scored with a hit, Sasha Todd had two RBIs and two hits, scoring once. Ziegenhagel recording pairs of hits, RBIs and runs scored.
Ziegenhagel worked all three innings, recording three strikeouts.
They finished play Saturday with a 7-6 win over the U16 Force Murdock.
