Dozens of local swimmers on display at AMAC-hosted meet

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club hosted 12 teams at a meet in Medicine Hat over the weekend.

The local swim club held the Mercenary Madness Swim Meet over the weekend at the Big Marble Go Centre on May 23-25.

There were 48 AMAC swimmers competing, here are their results.

Tyne Bainbridge (11): Had three new best times, finishing fourth in 200m Medley relay, eighth in 200m back timed final, 11th in 50m fly prelim, 100m free prelim and 100m back prelim, 18th in 50m free prelim, 19th in 50m back prelim and 21st in 50m breast prelim.

Nayla Berg (13): Had seven new best times, finishing first in 200m free RELAY, second in 100m breast final, third in 50m back final, 50m breast final and 100m breast prelim, fourth in 50m breast prelim and 200m back timed final, fifth in 100m back final, sixth in 100m back prelim, seventh in 50m back prelim, 11th in 100m free prelim and 22nd in 50m free prelim.

Rixtonn Biffart (10): Had six new best times, finishing first in 200m IM prelim and 200m IM final, second in 50m back prelim, 50m back final, 200m free prelim, 200m free final and 200m back timed final, third in 400m free final, fourth in 50m free prelim and fifth in 50m free final, 100m breast prelim and 100m breast final.

Rowynn Biffart (16): Had one new best time, finishing first in eight races: 50m back prelim, 50m back final, 50m breast prelim, 50m breast final, 50m fly prelim, 50m fly final, 50m free prelim and 50m free final.

Dain Burnell (12): Had six new best times, finishing second in 200m free RELAY, third in 50m back final, fourth in 50m back prelim and 200m back timed final, sixth in 400m free final, seventh in 50m breast prelim and 50m breast final, eighth in 50m fly prelim and 50m fly final, ninth in 50m free prelim and 13th in 200m free prelim.

Kolton Clarke (11): Had four new best times, finishing sixth in 200m IM prelim, seventh in 50m fly final, 200m free prelim, 200m back timed final and 400m free final, eighth in 50m fly prelim, 10th in 50m free prelim and 13th in 50m back prelim.

Matthew Daley (17): Had six new best times, finishing third in 50m breast prelim and 50m breast final, fourth in 50m back prelim, 50m back final, 100m breast prelim, 100m breast final and 200m breast timed final, fifth in 50m fly prelim and 50m fly final, sixth in 100m free prelim and 100m free final and eighth in 50m free prelim.

Ashlyn Dornian (12): Had six new best times, finishing 12th in 200m back timed final and 400m free final, 14th in 200m IM prelim, 15th in 50m back prelim and 50m fly prelim, 16th in 200m free prelim and 18th in 50m free prelim.

Westin Endres (17): Had three new best times, finishing second in 50m back prelim, 50m back final and 100m breast prelim, third in 100m breast final, fourth in 100m back prelim and 100m back final, fifth in 100m free prelim and 100m free final, seventh in 50m breast prelim and 50m breast final and 10th in 50m free prelim.

Wyatt Gage (16): Had six new best times, finishing second in 50m fly prelim, 50m fly final, 100m free prelim, 100m free final, 100m fly final and 400m IM timed final, third in 50m free prelim, 50m free final, 100m fly prelim, 200m free prelim and 200m free final and eighth in 50m breast prelim and 50m breast final.

Braelynn Gale (10): Had five new best times, finishing fourth in 200m Medley RELAY, fifth in 200m free RELAY, ninth in 200m back timed final, 10th in 50m fly prelim, 12th in 100m back prelim, 15th in 100m free prelim, 19th in 50m breast prelim, 22nd in 50m free prelim and 50m back prelim.

Amelia Grisak (11): Had four new best times, finishing 18th in 100m back prelim, 19th in 200m back timed final, 24th in 100m breast prelim, 37th in 50m back prelim, 39th in 50m breast prelim, 41st in 100m free prelim and 49th in 50m free prelim.

Estelle Grisak (14): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 200m free RELAY, second in 50m back prelim, 200m back timed final and 200m back prelim, fourth in 50m back final and 200m back final, fifth in 200m free prelim and 200m free final, sixth in 100m free final, seventh in 50m breast prelim, 50m breast final and 100m free prelim and 13th in 50m free prelim.
