Sr. Colts dominate in pair of HS baseball contests in Lethbridge

The Monsignor McCoy Colts senior baseball team took care of business on the road Tuesday.

The Colts beat the Prairie Winds Wild 14-0, then topped the LCI Rams 15-11.

In the shutout win over Prairie Winds, JJ Harnett had three RBIs with three hits and a pair of runs scored.

Asha Frey had three hits with two runs scored and two RBIs. Cole Carlson had two hits with two runs scored and an RBI.

Matt Fritzler had two RBIs and two hits with a run scored.

James Cole started the game on the mound, working two innings with two strikeouts. Fritzler took over for a pair of frames, recording four strikeouts. Jayden Mook finished the game, striking out the side in the fifth inning.

Against the Rams, Harnett led the offence with three RBIs, scoring twice with a hit.

Fritzler and Frey each had a pair of RBIs, run scored and hits.

Harnett started the game on the mound, recording two punch-outs in three innings of work.

Carlson pitched two frames, recording two strikeouts. Nixon Kunkel finished the game off with two innings on the mound.
