They opened the weekend with an 11-9 loss Saturday to RDFR Rage. Haidyn Pidlisny scored three times and Kylie James scored twice, each recording a hit and an RBI. Emma Agar-Weninger scored three times, also recording an RBI. Emily Kleemola pitched four innings with two strikeouts, Avery Regehr had an inning of work. They rebounded with a 13-8 win over the Sherwood Park Storm. Pidlisny had two hits, scoring twice with an RBI. Farrer Campbell drove in two runs, scoring twice and recording a hit. Kianna Mastel worked 3.1 innings, Kleemola pitched the last 3.2 frames. The Thunder lost their first game Sunday, falling 16-6 to the Lloydminster Liners. Nellie Campbell and Pidlisny each had a hit with a run scored, Agar-Weninger had a hit and an RBI. Campbell started the game, recording a strikeout in 2.1 innings pitched. Regehr recored two outs. They responded with a 17-11 win later in the day over the St. Albert Angels. Campbell led the way with three runs scored, three RBIs and two hits. Regehr had three RBIs with three hits and a run scored. James had two RBIs with two runs scored, tallying a hit. Campbell pitched 2.2 innings with two strikeouts, Matel pitched two innings. They carried momentum into Monday, winning 13-5 over the U15 Blitz. James had two RBIs with a hit and a run scored. Both Pidlisny and Regehr had a hit and an RBI, with the latter scoring a run. Kleemola started the game on the mound, recording five strikeouts in four innings of work. Mastel pitched the last inning. The Thunder capped off the weekend with a 17-13 win over the U15B Pistols. Agar-Weninger had four RBIs with four hits, scoring four times. Pidlisny had three RBIs with a hit and a run scored. Kinley Hittel scored twice, recording a hit. Regehr started the game, recording two strikeouts in 2.2 innings pitched. Kleemola had three punch outs in two innings of work. U17 The U17 Thunder Red played three games on the road over the weekend. They lost 10-0 to the Calgary Adrenaline Jonah on Saturday. Gracie Eddy and Kendall Smith each collected a hit in the loss. Taryn Brost started the game, throwing three innings. Smith worked the last 1.2 frames with a strikeout. They lost 12-1 to SPK later in the day Saturday. Eddy scored once with a hit, Brost recorded an RBI and Charli Allinson had a hit. Adriene Campbell started the game, Allie Evans threw two innings as well. The Thunder lost 8-3 to the Red Deer Rage on Sunday. Eddy had two hits with a run scored, Sydney Thompson led the way with three hits. Peightyn Williams drove in two runs with a home run. Brost started the game, working 2.2 innings with two strikeouts. Campbell pitched four innings with 11 strikeouts. They finished the weekend with a rematch against SPK, falling 8-0. Gracie Ulmer, Eddy, Mackenzie Tindall and Evans each recorded a hit. Campbell pitched four frames, recording three strikeouts. 35
