AMAC Swim Club races at Dino Cup over weekend

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club raced in Calgary over the weekend.

The local swim club sent 13 swimmers to the University of Calgary Swim Club’s Dino Cup to race against 12 other teams on Saturday and Sunday.

Tyne Bainbridge (11): Had six new best times, finishing 14th in 100m breaststroke, 15th in 100m IM, 23rd in 50m backstroke and 100m freestyle, 26th in 50m breaststroke and 27th in 50m freestyle.

Rixtonn Biffart (10): Had four new best times, finishing first in 100m IM, second in 50m fly, 50m freestyle, 100m fly and 100m breaststroke and third in 50m breaststroke.

Kolton Clarke (11): Had three new best times, finishing fourth in 100m fly, 13th in 100m IM and 200m freestyle, 20th in 50m fly, 21st in 100m backstroke and 22nd in 50m freestyle.

Braelynn Gale (10): Had five new best times, finishing seventh in 100m fly, 28th in 50m fly, 34th in 100m freestyle, 40th in 50m breaststroke, 51st in 50m backstroke and 52nd in 50m freestyle.

Campbell Kletzel (10): Had two new best times, finishing ninth in 50m breaststroke, 12th in 100m IM and 100m breaststroke, 18th in 100m freestyle, 26th in 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke.

Kate Kotze (8): Had one new best time, finishing sixth in 25m fly, 18th in 50m breaststroke, 25th in 100m backstroke, 29th in 100m freestyle, 31st in 50m backstroke and 33rd in 50m freestyle.

Benji Liebenberg (8): Had four new best times, finishing first in 50m breaststroke, second in 100m breaststroke, 12th in 100m freestyle, 13th in 50m freestyle, 15th in 100m backstroke and 18th in 50m backstroke.

Lillian Liebenberg (10): Had five new best times, finishing 14th in 200m freestyle, 18th in 100m IM, 28th in 100m breaststroke, 31st in 50m freestyle, 38th in 50m breaststroke and 42nd in 50m backstroke.

Caleb Martin (10): Had four new best times, finishing second in 200m freestyle, fourth in 50m freestyle, 100m IM and 100m freestyle and 18th in 50m backstroke.

Oleskii Mokryi (9): Had four new best times, finishing 26th in 100m backstroke, 29th in 100m freestyle, 33rd in 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke.

Lucy Pattison (8): Had five new best times, finishing fourth in 100m IM and 100m backstroke, fifth in 50m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke, 11th in 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke.

Ryes Pattison (11): Had two new best times, finishing third in 100m fly, fourth in 50m breaststroke, fifth in 100m IM, 10th in 50m breaststroke, 16th in 50m backstroke and 18th in 50m fly.

Marsha Van Der Merwe (10): Had five new best times, finishing second in 100m breaststroke, third in 50m breaststroke and 100m fly, fifth in 50m fly, sixth in 200m freestyle and 12th in 50m freestyle.

Next up for AMAC is the Chinook Invitational in Calgary on April 25-27.
