AMAC Swim races at Pronghorn Classic over weekend

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club was in action over the weekend in Lethbridge.

The local swim club sent 36 swimmers to race against eight other teams at the Pronghorn Classic Swim Meet.

Daniel Appleton (11): Had eight new best times, finishing sixth in 100m breast, eighth in 200m breast, ninth in 100m free, 12th in 100m breast, 14th in 100m free and 100m back, 15th in 50m breast and 50m free.

Tyne Bainbridge (11): Had eight new best times, finishing fifth in 100m back, ninth in 50m free, 16th in 100m breast, 19th in 50m free, 20th in 100m back and 100m free, 21st in 50m breast and 23rd in 50m back.

Rixtonn Biffart (10): Had seven new best times, finishing first in 50m fly and 100m free, second in 50m free, 50m back, 100m breast and 100m back and third in 50m free and 200m free.

Dain Burnell (11): Had seven new best times, finishing first in 50m back, second in 50m back, 100m back and 200m back, third in 100m back, 200m IM and 400m free and fifth in 200m free.

Kolton Clarke (11): Had eight new best times, finishing third in 100m fly, sixth in 100m free, 10th in 100m free, 11th in 200m back, 13th in 50m free, 16th in 50m back and 100m back and 19th in 50m breast.

Matthew Daley (17): Had five new best times, finishing second in 100m breast, third in 50m fly and 100m free, sixth in 50m breast, seventh in 50m free and 200m free and ninth in 50m free.

Ashlyn Dornian (11): Had seven new best times, finishing fifth in 50m back, eighth in 50m back, 10th in 50m fly and 100m free, 13th in 100m breast, 14th in 50m breast and 21st in 200m free.

Westin Endres (17): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 100m back, 100m back and 200m back, second in 50m back and 200m IM, third in 100m breast, fifth in 50m breast and sixth in 50m fly.

Wyatt Gage (16): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 200m free, second in 50m fly and 100m fly, third in 50m free, 50m fly and 50m back and fourth in 50m free and 200m IM.

Carleigh Gainsborough (12): Had eight new best times, finishing third in 100m breast, fifth in 50m fly, sixth in 100m free, 100m breast, 100m back and 400m free, seventh in 200m breast and ninth in 200m free.

Lauren Gainsborough (14): Had four new best times, finishing first in 100m back, second in 50m breast and 200m IM, third in 50m fly, fourth in 100m fly and fifth in 50m free

Braelynn Gale (10): Had six new best times, finishing fifth in 50m back, sixth in 50m fly, eighth in 100m free, 10th in 50m breast, 18th in 50m back, 19th in 100m back, 20th in 100m free and 22nd in 50m free.

Amelia Grisak (10): Had seven new best times, finishing fourth in 50m breast, ninth in 100m breast, 12th in 50m fly, 15th in 200m free, 20th in 50m back, 21st in 100m back and 100m free and 24th in 50m free.

Estell Grisack (14): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 200m back, second in 50m breast, 50m back and 50m back, fourth in 100m back, 200m free and 200m IM and sixth in 50m fly.

Isabela Josey (14): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 50m breast and 100m breast, third in 200m breast, seventh in 100m free, eighth in 100m free, 10th in 100m back and 13th in 50m free and 200m free.

Campbell Kletzel (10): Had six new best times, finishing third in 50m breast and 100m breast, fourth in 100m breast, fifth in 200m breast, sixth in 50m fly and 100m free, seventh in 200m free and 10th in 50m free.

Breagh Kohlman (13): Had three new best times, finishing third in 100m fly and 200m breast, fourth in 50m fly, 100m breast and 200m back, fifth in 50m breast and 200m IM and seventh in 50m fly.

Kate Kotze (8): Had eight new best times, finishing third in 100m back and eighth in 50m free, 14th in 50m breast, 15th in 100m breast, 22nd in 50m back and 100m back, 25th in 100m free and 26th in 50m free.

Benji Lienbenberg (8): Had eight new best times, finishing sixth in 50m breast and 100m free, ninth in 100m breast, 11th in 100m back, 12th in 100m free, 13th in 50m back and 15th in 50m free.

Lillian Liebenberg (10): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 100m back, sixth in 200m back, seventh in 100m breast and 100m free, ninth in 50m breast, 10th in 50m back, 11th in 200m free and 12th in 50m free.

Olivia Liebenberg (12): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 50m free, 50m free and 100m free, second in 100m breast, fourth in 200m breast, 200m free and 200m back and fifth in 50m breast.

Caleb Martin (10): Had six new best times, finishing third in 50m fly and 100m free, fourth in 50m free and 200m free, fifth in 50m free and seventh in 100m back and 100m breast.

Caen McWilliams (15): Had six new best times, finishing first in 100m fly, second in 50m free and 50m back, third in 50m free, fourth in 50m fly and seventh in 50m breast.

Lily McWilliams (14): Had three new best times, finishing first in 50m fly and 100m fly, third in 50m free and 100m breast and fourth in 50m fly.

Olivia McWilliams (11): Had eight new best times, finishing first in 200m back, second in 50m back and 100m back, third in 100m back, sixth in 50m free, seventh in 200m IM and 200m free and 11th in 50m free.

Isabelle McWilliams (10): Had eight new best times, finishing third in 200m back, fourth in 100m free, sixth in 100m breast and 100m back, seventh in 50m back, 10th in 100m free and 200m free and 15th in 50m free.

Masao Mori (13): Had seven new best times, finishing first in 50m free, 50m back, 100m free, 100m back, 200m free and 200m IM and second in 50m breast and 100m breast.

Holly Mulligan (13): Had six new best times, finishing fourth in 50m breast, fifth in 50m back, eighth in 100m breast, ninth in 100m free, 12th in 50m free and 100m back and 16th in 50m breast.

Jack Mulligan (13): Had seven new best times, finishing third in 100m breast, fourth in 50m breast and 200m back, fifth in 50m free, seventh in 100m free, 11th in 100m back and 12th in 50m free.

Lucy Pattison (8): Had eight new best times, finishing third in 50m back, fifth in 200m back, seventh in 50m breast, eighth in 100m breast, 11th in 50m fly, 12th in 100m back, 16th in 50m back and 17th in 100m free.

Ryes Pattison (11): Had six new best times, finishing fourth in 100m breast and 200m breast, fifth in 200m IM, sixth in 100m breast, ninth in 50m breast and 50m fly, 10th in 200m back and 13th in 200m free.

Maria Robinson (11): Had eight new best times, finishing fifth in 100m back, seventh in 100m breast, 13th in 50m breast, 14th in 100m breast, 18th in 100m back and 100m free, 19th in 50m free and 20th in 50m back.

Aliya Seeley (15): Had seven new best times, finishing first in 100m fly, second in 100m fly and 200m breast, third in 100m back and 200m IM, fourth in 200m back, fifth in 50m fly and seventh in 50m breast.

Austin Seeley (12): Had eight new best times, finishing second in 100m free, third in 100m breast, fourth in 100m breast, fifth in 50m free, sixth in 50m breast and 100m back, seventh in in 50m fly and eighth in 50m back.

Henley Yonkman (9): Had seven new best times, finishing second in 50m breast, third in 50m breast, fourth in 100m breast and 100m free, seventh in 100m free, eighth in 50m back and 10th in 50m free.

Leo Yonkman (15): Had seven new best times, finishing first in 50m breast, second n 100m fly and 200m free, third in 200m IM, fifth in 50m back, 50m fly and 50m free.

Next up for the AMAC swim club is the Winter provincial championships long course in Edmonton on March 20-2o. They will send 10 qualified swimmers to the competition.
