The Hounds suffered just their fourth loss of the season, falling 10-1 to the Wesco Chiefs, dropping the best-of-three South conference finals series 2-0. Diesel Bishop scored the Hounds’ lone goal in the loss, Blade Schreiner started the game making five stops. Dawson Ressler had 19 saves. The U13AA Hounds finish the year with an overall record of 36-4. U17 The Medicine Hat U17AAA South East Athletic Club Tigers are off to the second round of the AEHL playoffs with a series win over the Calgary Northstars. The Tigers lost Game 1 of the best-of-three, falling 5-2 on the road Thursday. Matteo Sartore scored both Medicine Hat goals, Carson Jerome made 40 saves. They won Game 2 5-3 on Saturday at the Redcliff arena. Treyden Kleinknecht had a goal and an assist and all three of Dane Friedt, Ryker Watson and Illya Khazov scored a solo marker. Kayden Van Ham made 29 saves. They captured the series win with a 4-2 victory Sunday on the road. Khazov, Nolan Peppler and Kleinknecht each had a goal and an assist and Friedt had a solo tally. Jerome made 51 saves to secure the win. The U17AAA SEAC Tigers next opponent has not been announced as of press time. 15
