Curling Centre hosts men’s bonspiel over weekend

The Medicine Hat Curling Centre held their men’s bonspiel last weekend.

The local curling club had 26 teams compete in four events from March 6-9.

The winner of the A event was AgroPlus, skipped by Kevin Aberle. In the eighth end, Aberle made a clutch raise to sit shot, which ended up being the deciding factor in the close game.

Drew Heidt’s team won the B event, Jordan Kindrat’s the C event and Denton Koch’s team won the D event.

The Curling Centre is hosting the Ladies Bonspiel this weekend. The action gets underway Friday and wraps up Sunday.
