sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The Medicine Hat Tigers continue to wait and see when it comes to their blue line injuries. Both 18-year-old defenceman Bryce Pickford and Jonas Woo remain out of the lineup with upper-body, week to week injuries. Pickford has not played since Feb. 1 after a first period fight in a 4-3 shootout loss at Seattle against the Thunderbirds. He fought Seattle rookie Jaxson Pawlenchuk just 2:52 into the game and went to the locker room after the fight. Woo has also not played since leaving a game after a fight, last playing on Feb. 15. The Winnipeg product fought Regina forward Keets Fawcett with 48 seconds left in the second period of a 1-0 win over the Pats, not returning for the third. The Tigers were without forward Kadon McCann in their weekend road wins as the 17-year-old is out of the lineup with an upper-body injury. The two games missed snapped an iron man streak for the Cochrane product, having played in all 136 regular season and playoff games since opening night of the 2023-24 season. Tigers associate coach Joe Frazer says McCann got banged up in the 5-3 win at Edmonton over the Oil Kings on Feb. 23, his last game played. McCann has practised with the club in a non-contact jersey and was not in the lineup Tuesday when the Tigers hosted the Kelowna Rockets. 9
