The Medicine Hat Boxing Club was in Edmonton last weekend.
The local boxing club sent three fighters to a two-day bout.
Jacob Walne defeated Jacob Neuzig from Spruce Grove in the 60 Kg Open Jr.C. On the second day, he lost to Jacey Kasakam from Saskatoon.
Nate Vossler boxed against a fighter head coach Kerry Fahlman described as a “very strong kid,” from Southside Edmonton, losing a close match in the 60 Kg. Open Youth.
Kade Steiger boxed Oleksander Golovtyi from Marshall Edmonton in the 40Kg Jr.B, losing in what Fahlman says was a close match.
