SAHA beat OHA Edmonton in a pair of games at Big Marble Go Centre, winning 5-0 on Saturday and 11-3 on Sunday. Mattias Radke made 32 saves for the shut-out win on Saturday. Both Luke Warrener and Luke Ruptash scored a pair of goals with an assist, Ty Hynes had a goal and an assist. In Sunday’s game, Gavin Lesiuk had a pair of goals with three assists and Brayden Ryan-MacKay tallied a hat trick with an assist. Ruptash had a pair of goals and an assist and all three of Kovann Chisholm, William Scott and Warrener had a goal and an assist. Josiah Jackson tallied a goal, Ty Hynes had three assists and Radke made 20 saves in the start. Kolter Gans made four stops in relief. The U18 men’s team (13-9-4) heads to Calgary on Friday to face Edge school. U17 SAHA’s U17 men’s team had three games over the weekend against Edge academy. They kicked things off with a 9-1 win at Big Marble on Friday. Kutcher Aquila and Matthew Cameron-Skidmore each had a pair of goals, Grady McLeod and Daily Nixon each scored a goal with an assist. Ryker Klassen, Noah Alexander and Carson Ward all found the back of the net and Hunter Zawislak made 30 saves in his start for the win. Griffin Stenger stopped both shots he faced in relief. They lost 5-4 in overtime to Edge on Saturday. Aidan Poulin scored twice with an assist, Aquila had a goal and two assists and Ward scored as well. Zawislak made 34 stops. SAHA finished the weekend with another OT loss, falling 5-4 on Sunday. Klassen tallied a goal and an assist and all three of Madden Wright, Kade Jensen and Poulin scored. Zawislak made 43 saves. SAHA’s U17 men’s team (14-10-1) will head to Edmonton on Saturday and Sunday to face the Northern Alberta Xtreme. 15
