The Hounds picked up a pair of blow-out wins, beating the Foothills Bisons 15-4 on Saturday before blanking the Okotoks Oilers 10-0 on Sunday. In Saturday’s win, Beckham Sprunger led the offence with three goals and three assists. Weston Haslbeck had a goal and four helpers. Haysten Biech and Teddy Maser each had a pair of goals and a pair of assists and Barit Bjelland had a goal and three assists for a pair of four-point contests. Talon Stolz and Bentley Thares each had two goals with an assist, Hudson Gilchrist and Diesel Bishop rounded out the offence with a goal and two assists each. Blade Schreiner made 15 saves in the win, Against Okotoks on Sunday, Sprunger led the way with a goal and four assists, Gilchirst tallied three goals with an assist. Raylan Johnson had a goal and three assists, Maser had a goal and two helpers and all four of Tyson Nguyen, Bensorf Metz, Haslbeck and Bishop had a goal and an assist. Dawson Ressler made 16 saves. The U13AA Hounds (23-2) are off until Jan. 31 for a road contest. U15 The U15AA South East Athletic Club Tigers had just one game over the weekend, a 4-3 loss to the Okotoks Oilers on Saturday. Nash Davis had a goal and an assist, all three of Sylis Robins, Everett Ward and Rhys Greggains found the back of the net. Bryan Tschritter made 35 saves. The U15AA Tigers (10-10-0-0-5) host a pair of home games this weekend, facing the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday and the Golden Suns on Sunday, both games at the Hockey Hounds arena. U16 The U16AA Hounds had a pair of games over the road on the weekend. The Hounds lost 4-1 to the West Central Tigers on Saturday, falling 6-1 to the Red Deer Chiefs on Sunday. Noah Henderson scored the Hounds’ lone goal Saturday, Connor Schmaltz made 11 saves. In Sunday’s loss, Logan Potion scored for Medicine Hat and Treyton Wilson made 35 stops. The U16AA Hounds (0-25) are on the road for a pair of games this weekend. U17 The U17AAA SEAC Tigers split a weekend on the road, beating the Okotoks Oilers 5-1 on Saturday before falling 3-1 to the Calgary Flames on Sunday. Illya Khazov and Nolan Peppler each had a pair of goals in Saturday’s win, Ryker Watson tallied a goal and an assist. Carson Jerome made 20 saves. In Sunday’s contest, Treyden Kleinknecht scored the Tigers’ lone goal and Kayden Van Ham made 35 saves. The U17AAA SEAC Tigers (7-10-0-2-4) are off until Jan. 31 when they host the Lethbridge Hurricanes. U18 The U18AA Hounds picked up a pair of weekend wins, beating the Wheatland Chiefs 4-3 on Friday before topping the Lethbridge Hounds 4-1 on Sunday. Four different Hounds scored in Friday’s win, with Joey Clarke, Owen Gustafson, Colby Motz and Nixon Kunkel each finding twine. Jaxon Scrivener had three helpers, Kolter Gans made 29 stops. Gustafson led the offence on Sunday with a goal and an assist. Grady Ford, Mots and Clarke each scored as well, Kayne Wright made 26 stops. The U18AA Hounds (14-8-0-0-3) are on the road Saturday before hosting the Foothills Bisons on Sunday. 28
