The Rattlers’ men’s team won 102-73 on Friday at Ambrose before beating the Lions 91-81 on Saturday at the Snake Pit. Ethan Robinson led the offence on Friday, with 21 points and four rebounds. Cooper Ward tallied 17 points with seven rebounds. Ward, in his third season with the Rattlers, tallied his 1,000th ACAC point in Friday’s win. He carried that momentum into Saturday’s game, recording a triple double with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. The Rattler’s women team also recorded a pair of wins, beating Ambrose 96-75 on Friday before winning 75-64 on the home court Saturday. Breanna O’Connor led the Rattlers on Friday with 27 points with seven rebounds and five assists. Jaida Gold also had 16 points and eight rebounds. O’Connor led the offence in Saturday’s win, tallying 28 points and nine rebounds. Gold notched a double double, with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Rattlers men’s (7-6) and women’s (6-7) basketball teams are on the road this weekend with a pair of games against the Red Deer Polytechnic. Volleyball MHC’s volleyball teams had a weekend series against the Lions. The Rattlers’ men’s team lost both games, falling in four sets Friday (23-25, 25-23, 24-26, 22-25) and three sets on Saturday (23-25, 17-25, 15-25). Jordan McKee led the Rattlers in both games, with 12 kills on Friday and seven on Saturday. The Rattlers’ women’s team also dropped both contests, falling in four sets Friday (25-18, 14-25, 21-25, 23-25) and three sets Saturday (18-25, 23-25, 23-25). Males Kletzel led the Rattlers on Friday with 11 kills, Haylee Fleck had eight kills on Saturday. The Rattlers’ men’s (4-7) and women’s (2-9) volleyball teams host the Red Deer Polytechnic for apart of games this weekend, playing at the Snake Pit on Friday and Saturday. Hockey The Rattlers’ women’s hockey team had a pair of weekend games, falling 8-0 to the Lakeland College Rustlers on Friday, also losing 7-1 Saturday to the NAIT Ooks. Anna Stewart started for the Rattlers on Friday, no individual statistics were recorded. Jessika Charron started for MHC on Saturday, making 39 saves. Brooklyn Siemens scored the Rattlers’ lone goal. The Rattlers women’s hockey team (2-13) hosts the SAIT Trojans on Friday before heading on the road Saturday. Futsal The Rattlers’ futsal teams kicked off the 2025 season on the road Saturday. Both the men’s and women’s teams drove down the Highway 3, facing the Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks. The Rattlers’ men’s team won 5-2 and the women’s team won 2-1. No individual stats were recorded. The Rattlers’ futsal teams host the Kodiaks on Saturday. 25
