The Hounds beat the Airdrie Lightning 2-1 on Friday before topping the Okotoks Oilers 4-3 on Sunday. Owen Gustafson had a goal and an assist in the win Friday, recording the game winner, with Kieran Wyrostok adding a goal as well. Kolter Gans made 43 saves. Against Okotoks, Nxon Kunkel had a goal and an assist, all three of Easton Kurpjuweit, Gustafon and Jaxon Scrivener had a goal. Grady Ford had two helpers, Kayen Wright made 33 saves. The U18AA Hounds (11-8-3) have a pair of games this weekend, on the road Friday before hosting the Lethrbidge Hounds on Sunday at the Kinplex. U17 The U17AAA South East Athletic Club Tigers had just one game over the weekend, beating the Calgary Bulls 4-3 on Sunday. Nolan Peppler had two goals, including the game winner. Illya Khazov and Matteo Sartore each scored, Treyden Kleinknecht had two assists. Kayden Van Ham made 22 saves for the win. The U17AAA SEAC Tigers (5-9-0-2-4) have two road games this weekend. U16 The U16AA Hounds had a pair of games on the road over the weekend, falling 6-1 to the Wheatland Raiders on Friday before losing 7-2 Sunday to the Bow Valley Timberwolves. In Friday’s loss, Logan Potvin scored the Hounds’ lone goal and Connor Schmaltz made 65 saves. On Saturday, Zander Kitching and Noah Henderson each scored, Treyton Wilson made 42 stops. The U16AA Hounds (0-23) are back on the road, playing Saturday and Sunday for a pair of games. U15 The U15AAA SEAC Tigers picked up three points over the weekend, with a 6-3 win Friday over the MLAC Maple Leafs and a 3-3 draw against the Calgary Northstars on Saturday. Carter Gilchrist led the offence on Friday, tallying two goals and three assists, including the game-winning marker. Carter Jarvis had a goal and two assists, and George Maser had a goal and an assist. The Tigers had three single-goal scorers in Canaan Fleck, Trio McFadzen and Macen Ibach each scoring, Jake Druar made 27 saves. In Saturday’s draw, Lucas Fisher had a goal and two assists, and both Maser and Nelson Soufo Sonna had a goal and an assist. Paxton Smigleski made 48 saves. The U15AAA SEAC Tigers (9-11-0-1-1) are off until Jan. 25 and 26 when they host the Calgary Flames for a pair of games. The U15AA SEAC Tigers had a pair of weekend games, falling 5-2 to the Foothills Bisons on Saturday before tying the Central Alberta Selects on Sunday. In Saturday’s loss, Beckham Girletz had a goal and Bryden Tschritter made 23 saves. Against the Selects, Nash Davis scored the Tigers’ lone goal and Hunter Munro made 35 saves. The U15AA Tigers (9-10-0-0-5) are on the road for just one game this weekend. U13 The U13AA Hounds won big over the weekend, beating the Golden Suns 8-3 on Saturday before topping the Wheatland Braves 10-5 on Sunday. Fischer Sprunger led the offence in Saturday’s win, with two goals and three assists, Diesel Bishop also had a goal and four assists. Raylan Johnson had two goals with two assists, and both Beckham Sprunger and Weston Haslbeck had a goal and an assist. Bentley Thares had a goal, and Blade Schreiner made 22 saves. In Sunday’s five-goal win, Bishop and Johnson each had two goals with an assist. Teddy Maser had a goal and two assists ,and five skaters each recorded a goal and an assist, Ben Rocheleau, Hudson Gilchrist, Haslbeck. Barit Bjelland and Tyson Nguyen. Dawson Ressler made 28 saves. The U13AA Hounds (21-2) host the Foothills Bisons on Saturday before heading on the road Sunday. 29
