Mavericks announce first returning player for 2025 season

The Medicine Hat Mavericks unveiled the first of their returning group for the 2025 WCBL season.

The Mavs announced local product Evan Morrison will return to the red and white for a second season, suiting up this summer. The first baseman had 16 hits and six RBIs in 30 games last season for his hometown WCBL team.

The Mavericks kick off the 2025 WCBL season hosting the defending champion Okotoks Dawgs on May 28.
