The Cubs won the first game back from the Heritage Junior Hockey League’s holiday break, beating the Mountainview Colts 7-4 on Saturday. Kyle Woolridge extended his league-leading point tally, with two goals and four assists in the win. Hayden King had a goal and three assists, Mason Olinski had a pair of helpers with a goal, and all three of Caleb Garrecht, Callen Prosofsky and Nolen Suthlerland had a goal and an assist. Tyler Wakelam made 34 saves for the win. The Cubs (19-7-2) sit third in the Southern division with two games on the schedule this week. They’ll head to High River on Friday to face the Flyers before hosting the Cochrane Generals on Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. contest at the Kinplex. 8
