Two Hatters named to Football Alberta senior bowl game

Two Medicine Hat senior high school football players will take part in all-star festivities.

Baker Thompson of the Monsignor McCoy Colts and Ira Hozack of the Medicine Hat High Hawks will take part in the 34th annual Senior Bowl High School football all-star game hosted in Calgary this weekend.

The game, held at the Encana Dome at Shouldice Park in Calgary, will pit senior athletes from southern Alberta schools against those from the northern Alberta region.

The weekend festivities got underway Thursday, with a pair of practises. They’ll have another practice today before a final practice on Saturday before the game on Sunday.
