Med Hat Tennis Club hosts Winter Classic

The Medicine Hat Tennis Club wrapped up its 2024 calendar on Saturday.

The local tennis club hosted the 13th annual Winter Classic tournament, held at the Big Marble Go Centre.

In the Open division, Logan and Jakan Reinheller defeated Dave Reinheller and Theron Bensler (8-2).

Kevin and CoraLee Riehl won the open consolation, defeating Wayne and Ryan Reinheller (8-4).

Jess and Briar Ferris took first place in the Intermediate division, defeating Lilly Laurent and Francesca Jonker (6-5).

The Intermediate consolation final was won by Robin and Malachi Kurpjuweit, they defeated Will and Loni Nickel (8-6).

A total of 24 players participated in this year’s tournament.
