SAHA’s U18 women’s team wins final game before holidays

The South Alberta Hockey Academy’s U18 women’s team enters the Holidays on a high note.

SAHA beat Edge 2-1 on Thursday on the road.

Taylor Crocker scored twice for SAHA, Myla Motz and Makayla Peters had the assists. Emma Skolney made 27 saves.

SAHA’s U18 women’s team (13-6-2) are off until Jan. 11.

U17

SAHA’s U17 men’s team had a pair of home games over the weekend.

They hosted Calgary International Hockey Academy on Friday and Saturday at the Big Marble Go Centre, falling 5-0 on Friday before a 2-0 win Saturday.

Kade Jensen scored SAHA’s lone goal in the loss Friday, Hunter Zawislak made 33 saves.

In Saturday’s win, Zawislak stopped all 41 shots he faced for the shutout. Sully Kufflick had a goal and an assist, Jensen also found twine.

SAHA’s U17 men’s team (10-9-1) is off until Jan. 10.
