AMAC Swim Club races at JP Fiset Invitational over weekend

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club raced in Edmonton over the weekend.

The local swim club sent 10 qualified swimmers to the second race of the provincial series, the JP Fiset Invitational held in Edmonton Dec. 12-15.

Abigail Begin (16): Achieve two new best times, finishing 14th in 50m back prelim, 16th in 50m back final, 21st in 100m back prelim, 24th in 50m fly prelim and 100m fly prelim, 34th in 200m IM prelim, 48th in 100m free prelim and 50th in 50m free prelim.

Nayla Berg (13): Had four new best times, finishing 21st in 100m breast prelim, 25th in 200m breast prelim, 28th in 500m free prelim, 43rd in 200m IM prelim, 50th in 200m free prelim and 68th in 50m free prelim.

Morgan Hobson (16): Reached a new best time, finishing 18th in 50m breast prelim, 21st in 100m breast prelim, 22nd in 200m breast prelim, 31st in 100m fly prelim, 44th in 50m fly prelim, 59th in 100m free prelim and 68th in 50m free prelim.

Olivia Liebenberg (12): Achieved two new best times, finishing 18th in 400m free prelim, 21st in 200m free prelim, 22nd in 100m free prelim, 25th in 50m free prelim and 50m breast prelim, 26th in 100m breast prelim and 39th in 50m fly prelim.

Lily McWilliams (13): Had 11 new best times, finishing fifth in 400m free final, sixth in 200m free prelim, 400m free prelim and 800m free timed final, seventh in 200m free final, ninth in 50m free final and 200m IM final, 10th in 200m IM prelim, 11th in 100m free final and 100m free prelim, 12th in 50m free prelim and 100m back final and 15th in 100m back prelim.

Wyatt Gage (16): Reached six new best times, finishing 23rd in 100m fly prelim, 24th in 50m fly prelim, 26th in 50m back prelim, 36th in 50m free prelim and 50m breast prelim and 37th in 100m free prelim.

Johnathan Marshall (17): Had three new best times, finishing 20th in 100m fly prelim, 23rd in 50m fly prelim, 24th in 50m back prelim, 27th in 50m breast prelim, 28th in 50m free prelim and 30th in 100m free prelim.

Caen McWilliams (15): Had six new best times, finishing third in 800m free timed final, fifth in 50m back final, 100m back prelim, 200m free prelim and 200m free final, sixth in 200m back prelim and 200m back final, seventh in 50m back prelim, eighth in 100m back final, 100m free prelim and 100m free final, ninth in 50m free prelim and 10th in 50m free final.

Masao Mori (13): Received 11 new best times, finishing fourth 200m IM final, 200m IM prelim, 200m fly final, 200m fly prelim, 200m back final, 400m IM final, 400 IM prelim and 800m free timed final, sixth in 100m free final, 100m free prelim, 200mm free final and 200m back prelim and seventh in 200m free prelim.

Leo Yonkman (15): Had five new best times, finishing 17th in 50m breast prelim, 20th in 100m breast prelim, 26th in 200m breast prelim, 28th in 50m fly prelim, 35th in 100m free prelim, 38th in 50m free prelim and 42nd in 200m free prelim.
