They kicked things off with a 12-2 win Friday over Pilot Mound Hockey Academy. A pair of Medicine Hat Tigers prospects led the way offensively, Brayden Ryan-MacKay had three goals and two assists in the win and Avery Watson had two goals and two assists. Koray Bozkaya had five assists. Kale McCann had a goal and an assist, Ty Hynes, Garrison Peck, Sutton Verot and Josiah Jackson each scored a goal. Mattias Radke made 30 saves. SAHA beat RHA Winnipeg 4-2 on Saturday. Kingston Chisholm and Watson each scored a pair of goals, Ty Krooshoop had two assists. Radke made 33 saves. They finished the weekend with a 5-4 overtime loss in a rematch with RHA Winnipeg. Ryan-MacKay had a goal and two assists, Luke Ruptash scored twice. Owen Brees also scored, Radke made 37 saves. SAHA’s U18 men’s team (9-8) has three home games this weekend at the Big Marble Go Centre, hosting the Northern Alberta Xtreme on Friday and Saturday before facing RHA Winnipeg on Sunday. U18 women’s SAHA’s U18 women’s team picked up three wins over the weekend. The weekend kicked off with a 6-2 win Friday over the St. Mary’s High School prep. Marley Howes and Keyana Bert each had a goal and two assists and all three of Jaylee Skog, Kamryn Reiber and Riley Gramlich had a goal and an assist. Emily Gerdevich had a goal, Phoenix Buckler made 10 saves. They carried the momentum into Saturday, beating the North Shore Warriors 5-2. Taylor Crocker had a hat trick in the win, with Myla Motz and Bert recording solo markers. Hannah Palumbo made 18 saves. SAHA lost 7-1 Sunday to the Shawnigan Lake School. Reiber scored the lone SAHA goal, Buckler made 28 saves. They finished the weekend with a 5-3 win Monday at Big Marble over Balmoral Hall School. Sara Stefanic, Gramlich and Skog each had a goal and an assist and both Bert and Reiber had a goal. Palumbo made 28 saves. SAHA’s U18 women’s team (8-6-0-1) has three home games against OHA Edmonton this weekend, playing Friday at the Kinplex, Saturday and Sunday at Big Marble. U17 SAHA’s U17 men’s team had three weekend games, starting with a 4-3 loss to Delta Hockey Academy on Friday. Paxton Cabana had three assists, and all three of Aidan Poulin, Ryker Klassen and Noah Alexander scored a goal. Rem Martins made 31 saves. They beat Pacific Coast Hockey Academy on Saturday, winning 5-4. Sully Kufflick had a goal and an assist, Brennan Finke, Kai Ducharme, Matthew Cameron-Skidmare and Kade Jensen each scored a goal. Hunter Zawislak made 28 saves. They finished the weekend with a 2-1 overtime win Sunday over St. George’s School. Kutcher Aquila scored the game winner, 1:02 into overtime, also recording an assist in the win. Carson Ward scored in regulation game, martins made 20 saves in the win. SAHA’s U17 men’s team (6-7) is on the road for three games this weekend. 29
