Raymond Comets to face off in provincial 5A football finals

The Raymond Comets will face the Harry Ainlay Titans in the provincial 5A football championship game on Saturday in Grande Prairie.

The three-game festival at Hanson Lincoln Field in the northern Alberta city will also feature the 4A and 3A final games, while new nine-a-side and six-a-side divisions will determine champions on Friday.

The 4A game sees the top-ranked Holy Trinity Academy Knights visit the hometown St. Joseph’s Celtics.

The Cochrane Cobras and Holy Rosary Raiders will compete for the 3A title.

In nine-a-side final, the Ponoka Broncs meet the Peace River Pioneers, while Hanna’s J.C. Charyk Hawks meet the Millwoods Christian Royals in the six-a-side game.
