AMAC Swim Club races in Cochrane over weekend

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club sent 25 swimmers to Cochrane this weekend.

The local swim club raced against six other teams at the third annual Cochrane Comets Cup.

Here are the local results.

Nayla Berg (12): Had six new best times, finishing first in 50m breast and 100m breast, second in 50m back and 100m IM, third in 100m back, fifth in 200m back and sixth in 100m fly.

Kolton Clarke (11): Achieved six new best times, finishing 14th in 50m free and 50m back, 16th in 100m breast, 18th in 50m free, 20th in 100m free and 200m free.

Matthew Daley (16): Had six new best times, finishing second in 50m breast, fourth in 50m fly, 100m breast and 200m breast, fifth in 100m IM and sixth in in 50m free and 50m back.

Westin Endres (16): Finished with one new best time, coming third in the 100m breast and fourth in the 200m breast.

Wyatt Gage (15): Had six new best times, finishing second in 50m back, 50m fly and 100m free, third in 50m free, 100m IM and 100m fly and sixth in 100m IM.

Carleigh Gainsborough (11): Had seven new best times, finishing 11th in 100m breast, 15th in 100m back, 18th in 200m back, 20th in 200m free, 22nd in 100m free, 27th in 200m IM and 29th in 400m free.

Lauren Gainsborough (13): Had six new best times, finishing first in 100m breast and 200m breast, second in 100m IM, fourth in 50m back and 50m fly, sixth in 400m free, seventh in 50m free and ninth in 100m fly.

Estelle Grisak (13): Had four new best times, finishing fifth in 50m back, sixth in 100m free and 200m back, seventh in 200m free, eighth in 100m breast, ninth in 400m free and 10th in 100m fly.

Jordan Hill (15): Had three new best times, finishing third in 100m back, fourth in 50m breast, fifth in 100m breast, sixth in 200m back and ninth in 200m free and 800m free.

Abigail Holden (12): Had seven new best times, finishing 20th in 50m back, 23rd in 200m back, 24th in 200m free, 25th in 100m free, 26th in 100m IM, 33rd in 50m free and 34th in 50m breast.

Teagan Hollingworth (15): Had six new best times, finishing second in 100m back and 100m free, third in five races: 50m back, 50m free, 100m fly, 200m back and 400m free. Also finishing sixth in 200m free.

Isabela Josey (11): Had five new best times, finishing fifth in 50m breast, 16th in 100m IM, 19th in 200m back, 26th in 50m free and 100m free, 27th in 200m free.

Breagh Kohlman (12): Had four new best times, finishing third in 50m fly, 100m IM and 100m breast, fourth in 50m back, seventh in 200m IM, ninth in 100m free, 13th in 50m free and 400m free.

Olivia Liebenberg (12): Had eight new best times, finishing third in 200m free, fourth in 100m free, fifth in 50m free, sixth in 50m back and 100m IM, eighth in 100m breast, 11th in 400m free and 14th in 20m IM.

Johnathan Marshall (17): Had three new best times, finishing first in 50m fly, 50m free and 100m free, second in 100m fly, 100m breast and 100m IM, third in 50m back.

Lily McWilliams (13): Had one new best time, finishing first in 50m free, second in 100m breast, 200m free and 200m IM, third in 50m fly, 50m back and 400m free and fifth in 100m fly.

Olivia McWilliams (11): Had eight new best times, finishing seventh in 50m back, 10th in 100m back, 12th in 800m free, 15th in 200m back, 18th in 100m IM, 21st in 100m free, 23rd in 50m free and 25th in 200m IM.

Amethyst Millar (17): Had three new best times, finishing first in 50m back and 100m free, second in 50m breast, 100m IM and 100m breast, fourth in 50m free and 200m free.

Masao Mori (13): Had four new best times, finishing first in 50m breast, 50m fly, 100m IM, 200m free and 200m IM, second in 50m free and 100m breast and fifth in 800m free.

Jack Mulligan (12): Had seven new best times, finishing fourth in 100m breast, sixth in 100m free, eighth in 200m IM, 200m free and 200m back, ninth in 100m back and 11th in 400m free.

Maria Robinson (11): Had five new best times, finishing 22nd in 50m back, 29th in 50m breast and 100m breast, 31st in 100m back, 38th in 200m free, 42nd in 50m free and 45th in 100m free.

Aliya Seeley (14): Had four new best times, finishing first in 100m IM, third in 100m breast, fourth in in 200m free and 200m back, fifth in 100m free, sixth in 50m back and 100m fly, eighth in in 800m free.

Austin Seeley (11): Had five new best times, finishing seventh in 100m IM, ninth in 50m back and 50m breast, 10th in 100m breast and 200m IM and 23rd in 200m free.

Owen Sommerfedlt (14): Had two new best times, finishing first in 50m back and 100m fly, second in 50m free and 100m back, third in 100m free and 200m back, fourth in 200m free and seventh in 400m free.

Leo Yonkman (15): Had eight new best times, finishing second in 200m breast, third in 200m free, fourth in 50m free, 100m IM and 100m free, fifth in 50m back and sixth in 400m free.

Next up for the club is the AMAC Fall Invitational at the Big Marble Go Centre from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.
