MedHat Tennis Club hosts mixed doubles tourney

The Medicine Hat Tennis Club held their annual summer mixed tournament this weekend.

The local tennis club hosted its Summer Mixed Doubles Tournament at the Medicine Hat Tennis Club courts, with 24 players participating.

Lauren and Riley Danroth (1) won the open division, defeating Dannan and Quinlan McElroy-O’Driscoll (2) (6-3, 4-6, 7-6).

Una and Craig Weich won the open division consolation, defeating Rocheal and Darren Howes (6-3,6-1)

The intermediate division was won by Aliesha and Theron Bensler, who defeated Maryn and Geoff Paulgaard 8-4.

There was no consolation match for the intermediate division.

The next event at the tennis club is the Medicine Hat Open Tournament, August 21-25.
