They lost the first two games of the weekend but rebounded with a pair of wins on Sunday. The Thunder opened the weekend with a 5-4 loss Saturday to the SBR Rockies-Fell. Raquel Snideman had two RBIs with a hit and a run scored and and Ryan Sweet tallied two hits with a run scored and an RBI. Albany Mastel worked three innings on the mound to start the game, recording five strikeouts. Sweet came in relief and recorded two punch-outs in 2.1 innings pitched. They lost the second game Saturday, falling 13-2 to the West Valley Warriors. Kassidy Hart and Sweet led the offence with a hit and an RBI each, Hart also tallied a run scored. Raquel Snideman started the game on the mound, recording a strikeout in her 2.1 innings pitched. Sweet worked out of the bullpen, with three Ks in 3.2 innings of work. The Thunder picked up their first win of the weekend, beating the Warriors in a rematch Sunday morning. Sweet had three RBIs with two hits and a run scored and Madi Parry tallied two hits with an RBI and a run scored.Hart scored twice, also recording a hit. Mastel started the game for the Thunder, tacking up three strikeouts in four innings pitched. Sweet finished the game off with an inning of work. They finished the weekend with with another rematch victory, beating the SBR Rockies 8-6. Paige Snideman had two hits with two RBIs and two runs scored and Sweet tallied three hits with a run scored. Perry had a string of ones, recording a hit with a run scored and and RBI. Raquel Snideman started the game and worked four innings with four strikeouts. Mastel finished the contest, with a punch-out in two innings of work. 16
