The Medicine Hat Tigers logo is represented across a quarter of the NHL this week.

As National Hockey League teams get their development camps underway following the NHL Entry Draft last weekend, eight Tigers are taking part in seven different camps.

All four of the recent Medicine Hat draftees are at their respective team’s camps, with Cayden Lindstrom in Columbus with the Blue Jackets, Andrew Basha at the Calgary Flames camp, Tomas Mrsic with the St. Louis Blues and Hunter St. Martin set to head to Florida for the Panthers camp next week.

Tigers’ goaltender Ethan McCallum is joining Basha as an undrafted invitee to the Flames camp. Forward Shane Smith took part in a scrimmage on the first day of the Vegas Golden Knight’s development camp on Tuesday and Oasiz Wiesblatt is in Washington at the Captials’ camp. He attended both of the Blue Jackets development and training camps last year.

Recent WHL graduate Rhett Parsons is attending the Toronto Maple Leafs development camp.
