Mavs hosting Bark in the Park game Sunday

What’s new Scooby Doo, a bunch of furry friends will be at Athletic Park on Sunday to play with you.

The Medicine Hat Mavericks have moved up the annual Bark in the Park night presented by All Dogs Great and Small daycare and training, hosting Mavs’ fans and their four-legged friends on Sunday.

The 2:05 p.m. contest against the Edmonton Prospects welcomes dogs to the park to cheer on the Mavs and see Edmonton for the first time since the 2022 WCBL season.

All interested dog owners must fill out a waiver found on the Mavs’ social medias and website.

Mavs at Swift Current

The Mavs were back in action Wednesday after two off days, taking on the Swift Current 57’s on the road. It’s their first game since a 10-3 loss Sunday at AP to the Sylvan Lake Gulls.

The Mavs (13-10) are off today before they head to Okotoks for a two-game set against the Dawgs on Friday and Saturday. It’s the first time the Mavs have faced the Dawgs since Okotoks beat Medicine Hat in a decisive Game 3 of the WCBL finals last season.
