AMAC Swim Club races at invitational over weekend

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club raced at the Steven Brown Memorial over the weekend.

The local swim club sent twenty-two swimmers to the invitational meet hosted at the MNP Community and Sport Centre from Friday to Sunday.

Here are the results.

Female 10 and under

Isabelle McWilliams (9): Finished third in 200m Back, ninth in 50m Back, 10th in 200m Breast, 21st in 50m Breast, 36th in 100m Back and 48th in 50m Free.

Lucy Pattison (8): Finished ninth in 200m Breast, 13th in 50m Back, 15th in 100m Free, 16th in 50m Breast, 37th in 100m Back and 44th in 50m Free.

Braelynn Gale (9): Finished 20th in 50m Back and 100m Free, 26th in 50m Breast, 52nd in 100m Back and 56th in 50m Free.

Lillian Liebenberg (9): Finished 12th in 50m Back, 22nd in 50m Breast, 40th in 100m Back and 49th in 50m Free.


Isabela Josey (10): Finished first in 50m Breast, 100m Breast and 200m Breast, fourth in 200m Free, eighth in 400m Free and 17th in 50m Free.

Maria Robinson (10): Finished seventh in 200m Breast, 11th in 50m Breast, 29th in 100m Back and 35th in 50m Free.

Female 11-12

Charlotte Kurpjuweit (11): Finished 13th in 200m Breast, 23rd in 100m Back, 24th in 50m Free, 26th in 100m Breast and 34th in 50m Breast.

Olivia McWilliams (11): Finished fourth in 200m Back, sixth in 400m Free, 18th in 50m Back, 20th in 100m Back and 27th in 50m Breast.

Female 13-14

Maja Kolodziej (13): Finished sixth in 50m Breast, 10th in 200m IM and 13th in 100m Free.

Lily McWilliams (13): Finished first in 50m Free, 50m Back, 100m Free and 400m Free (13-14y/o Champ Time) and second in 100m Fly (13-14y/o Provincial Time) and 200m IM (15 and over provincial time).

Aliya Seeley (14): Finished first in 200m Free, second in 400m IM, fourth in 100m Fly, fifth in 200m IM, eighth in 50m Fly and 15th in 50m Free.

Female 15 and over


Jordan Hill (15): Finished fourth in 400m Free, seventh in 100m Breast, eighth in 200m Back, ninth in 200m IM and 11th in 50m Breast.

Jocelyn MacPhail (18): Finished third in 200m Breast.


Male 10 and under

Piercyn Berg (9): Finished second in 100m Breast (11y/o Festival Time), third in 200m Breast, seventh in 50m Breast and eighth in 50m Back.

Rixtonn Biffart (9): Finished second in 400m Free, third 50m Fly and 200m IM and fourth in 50m Free, 50m Breast and 100m Free.

Caleb Martin (9): Finished fifth in 50m Fly, sixth in 100m Free, seventh in 200m IM, eighth in 50m Breast, 11th in 50m Free and 16th in 100m Back.

Ryes Pattison (10): Finished first in 200m Back, third in 100m Breast, fifth in 50m Breast, ninth in 200m IM, 17th in 100m Back and 18th in 50m Free.

Henley Yonkman (8): Finished sixth in 100m Breast, 10th in 50m Breast and 100m Free and 20th in 50m Free.

Male 11-12

Austin Seeley (11): Finished fifth in 200m Free, 13th in 100m Back, 15th in 50m Free and 200m IM and 17th in 50m Breast.

Izaak Smith (12): Finished fourth in 200m Free and 200m Breast, 10th in 50m Back, 11th in 50m Breast, 27th in 100m Back and 33rd in 50m Free.

Male 13-14

Micah Smith (13): Finished fourth in 200m Free, sixth in 400m Free, ninth in 50m Free, 13th in 50m Fly, 17th in 200m IM and 23rd in 50m Breast.

Leo Yonkman (14): Finished first in 50m Breast (14-15y/o Provincial Time), second in 200m Breast, third in 100m Free and fifth in 50m Free and 400m Free.

Next up for AMAC Swim club is the Edmonton Keyano International where qualified swimmers will be attending July 4-7.
