The WPCA Chuckwagon Races roars into Medicine Hat at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede with the four-days of racing starting Thursday night.

Chuckwagons are rolling into Medicine Hat and will put on a show on the Half Mile of Hell.
The World Professional Chuckwagon Association tour kicks off Thursday at 7 p.m., with the first of four races taking place at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede grounds.
The WPCA tour is coming off the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship Races June 6-9, won by 61-year-old driver Luke Tournier. He had a championship heat run of 1 minute 18.07 seconds.
Jamie Laboucane of St. Walburg, Sask. was the four-day winner of the 2023 chuckwagon championship in Medicine Hat with a run of 1:01.52.
Each race features 36 drivers competing in 12 heats, including the dash for cash finale Sunday at 2 p.m.
Friday and Saturday’s races also get underway at 7 p.m.
