Med Hat Boxing Club wraps up season in Calgary

The Medicine Boxing Club competed at a bout in Calgary last weekend.

The local club sent one boxer, Jacob Walne, to the competition held at Olympus Boxing Club.

Walne defeated Alex Issa from Alliance Boxing Club in Saskatoon in the open 54 kg division. The victory was Walne’s eighth straight win. It also capped off the end of the boxing club’s season as they’ll take the summer off before ramping back up in September.
