After a 4-3 overtime loss to the Edge School on Saturday, SAHA beat the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy 15-0 on Sunday. Brayden Ryan-Mackay had a goal and an assist in Saturday’s OT loss, both Carter Cunningham and Owen Brees scored as well. Make Schlenker made 36 saves. Ben Polhill stopped all 20 shots he faced in the shutout win Sunday. SAHA’s bloated win saw eight players have three or more points, with Cunningham’s five goals and one assist leading the way. Nate Yellowaga and Ryan-MacKay each had a goal and three assists, Josh Evaschesen had two goals with an assist and all three of Cohen Carter, Julian Laqua and Josiah Jackson each recorded a goal and two assists. Landon Marleau had two goals, Will Bell had a solo marker, Cash Olson had three assists and both Hudson Gainer and Drew Williamson had two assists. SAHA’s U18 men’s team (18-9-2) host the Prairie Hockey Academy on Friday at the Big Marble Go Centre for their final CSSHL regular season game. Women’s SAHA’s U18 women’s team had a four-game road weekend and were able to pick up two wins. They opened the weekend with a 3-2 win Thursday over the Delta Hockey Academy Green. Keyana Bert and Keira Grant each had a goal and an assist and Addison Eurich tallied a solo marker. Tayler Cohen made 22 saves in the win. SAHA carried momentum into Friday, with a 5-4 overtime win over the Shawnigan Lake school. Kamryn Reiber had two goals and Riley Gramlich had a goal with two assists, including the game winner. Grant tallied a goal and an assist and Lauren Hassler had a solo marker. Maddy Ferguson made 32 saves. They lost 7-1 Saturday to Rink Kelowna, with Kiyra Kletzel scoring their lone goal and Cohen racking up 74 saves. Their weekend ended with a 2-0 shutout loss to the Delta Hockey Academy Black, with Ferguson making 29 saves in that loss. SAHA’s women’s team (14-14) have two road games this weekend. 18
